The Project Manager supports a National Science Foundation (NSF)-funded research project examining teacher language use (Spanish/English) in bilingual education settings and its relationship to student outcomes. Reporting to the Principal Investigator, this role provides coordination and operational support for research activities, including participant communication, data processing, and project logistics.
This position is responsible for implementing established processes, supporting data collection efforts, and assisting with coordination across schools, families, and research collaborators. The role requires strong bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured research environment.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
Advanced proficiency in Spanish (speaking, reading, writing, and translation), including ability to engage with native speakers and transcribe conversational language
Demonstrated project coordination or leadership experience
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including educators, families, and research partners
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment
Additional Information:
Expected Hiring Range: $ 19.81 to $ 21.54
